In Memory of Ivan Flores-Heilbron (July 10, 2022)

A 2005 Peterbilt semi-truck, driving by a 57-year-old Virginia man, was turning right onto Limerick Road when a 2018 Mercedes Sprinter van, driven by Ivan Flores-Heilbron, 50, of Michigan, hit the trailer of the truck, Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Flores-Heilbron had to be extracted from the van, police said. He was flown to Grant Medical Center for life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. One dead after crash involving semi-truck in Ross County

Lawrence County Coroner Scott Norwood said the driver of a pickup truck rear-ended a propane truck in the crash.

The driver of the Dodge Ram truck, Scott Berry, 52, died in the crash. The propane truck’s driver, Charles Tennyson, 58, was transported to Hellen Keller Hospital for treatment. 1 dead, 1 injured in Lawrence County propane truck crash

A dreaded phone call told the family of a crash between a pickup truck and a cement truck, leaving one driver dead and the other in critical condition.

Family members at the scene said the 29-year-old victim died after being head-on. He was the father of two little girls. Father of two killed in crash involving cement truck on Norman highway

Christopher was in a accident on highway 9 and 132nd around 5:30 AM. He was heading westbound going to work when a Dolese concrete truck hit him head on. The Dolese driver is alive and well at this time. Christopher did not make it. Funeral services for Christopher Thomas Free

New information came to light over the weekend concerning last week’s fatal crash on Interstate 80 in Jefferson County that claimed the life of 36-year-old Hughesville resident Cody Rishel, 36, according to state police.

He was a front-seat passenger in a 2014 Ford Edge driven by Eric Stroup, 47, also of Hughesville, that plowed into the back of a tractor-trailer truck, driven by Lukasz Romanczyk, of Effort, Monroe County, who was not injured, police said. . .

Rishel, who was pronounced dead at scene, was trapped in the car and had to be extricated from the vehicle with the use of special rescue tools, police said. New details released on recent deadly I-80 crash

Around 7:07 p.m., police said 26-year-old Jeffery Amofa was driving a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe west on C.H. James Parkway. Officers said he crossed the center turning lane, coming head-to-head with a FedEx tractor-trailer. 

Police said the FedEx driver was not hurt, but Amofa died from his injuries. Man killed in wreck involving FedEx truck

The Laredo Police Department have released the name of the victim involved in the Friday accident on Market and McClellan as Fernando Robles, 17.

Preliminary reports indicate two vehicles were involved in the accident, a black Cadillac SRX, driven by Robles and a tractor-trailer. Robles was declared dead at the scene. . .

A two-vehicle crash at approximately 5:55 p.m. Friday, June 10, has claimed the life of an Enterprise man. Jadakis T. McKinney, 20, was fatally injured when the 2016 Hyundai Sonata he was driving collided head-on with a 2019 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Anthony P. Robinson, 43, of Elba. A 2007 Toyota Yaris was traveling north on Route 17 when it crossed a double solid yellow centerline and collided head-on with a southbound 2004 Kenworth tractor-trailer, according to a release Friday from Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Brent Coffey.

McDonald stopped in the center turn lane, waiting for the northbound travel lanes to clear so he could proceed northbound but after entering into the center lane, the suspect’s trailer did not totally clear the left southbound travel lane.

According to documents, the victims, James Williams and Shinreca Brown, were in a 2003 Mercury Marquis, traveling southbound on Swinnea Road when they struck the part of the semi-trailer that was stopped in the travel lane.
