According to the Department of Public Safety, a big rig pulling a saltwater tank was turning onto Highway 21 from FM 1362 when a Dodge minivan hit the trailer. Both the driver and passenger in the minivan were pronounced dead on scene.

The driver has been identified as Leslie Rosenberg, 62, and the passenger as Sophie Rosenberg, 19. Both were from Austin. The driver of the big rig was not injured. Two people killed in early morning accident on Highway 21

A 2015 Maserati Ghibli was driven by 21-year-old Jaden Olson of Rapid City, and had two passengers, 55-year-old Titus Ironshield of Rapid City, and 22-year-old Thomas Jackson of Spearfish. All three men were wearing seatbelts in the crash.

Clarksville police said Rahim Perry, 28, was driving southbound on Peachers Mill Road, when he proceeded through a red light at the intersection and collided with a tanker truck traveling westbound on 101st Airborne Division Parkway.

A veteran FDNY firefighter was killed after crashing into the back of a tractor trailer on a New Jersey highway, police said.

Justin Cook, 6, and Raelynn Cook, 5 — were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, about a mile east of Ind. 3’s intersection with Ind. 18.

The children were passengers in an eastbound pickup truck — driven by their father, Robert A. Cook, 37, Montpelier — that reportedly crossed the center line on the state highway and collided with a westbound semi-tractor trailer.

A 50-year-old Bridgeport man was killed late Thursday night after his disabled vehicle was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer truck and burst into flames on Interstate 95, state police said.

Patricia Renick, 71 of Crawfordsville, died after colliding head-on with a semi-tractor trailer while heading westbound on Ind. 32 in Lebanon. Deputies were called to the scene around 1:20 p.m.

Fire personnel freed Renick from the car, and medics put her into an ambulance while they waited for a helicopter to take her to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.

Renick “had serious bodily injuries that needed immediate medical treatment,” the sheriff’s office said.

The crash happened on I-90 between exits 46 in Henrietta and 47 in LeRoy around 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 4. Troopers say Campbell tried to make a U-turn while driving a semi on the Thruway when another vehicle drove under the tractor-trailer.  

According to crews, the second vehicle had gone 100 feet off of the Thruway. The driver and passenger both died.

A crash report indicates that Michael Lee Grim, 76, was driving west on Highway 137 just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday when at around 702nd Avenue, he crossed the centerline of a curved portion of the road for an unknown reason.

Grim’s vehicle collided head-on with a tractor-trailer that was travelling eastbound on Highway 137, according to the crash report.

A spokesperson for Colorado State Patrol says a medical episode is likely to blame for the crash, which happened around 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

State Patrol says a 2020 Subaru Forester headed eastbound on Highway 24 began drifting in the westbound lanes into the path of the semi. The truck driver tried to move out of the way but couldn’t in time, and the Forester crashed into the trailer. 1 killed in semi-versus-SUV crash between Woodland Park and Divide

Carl Schwing, formerly a Bonita Springs city manager and a Cape Coral assistant city manager, died Tuesday at the scene of a car crash in Colorado.

Bonita Springs city officials confirmed Schwing’s SUV was involved in a fatal crash near Colorado Springs.
