Massachusetts State Police have identified the woman killed in the Friday morning crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham as Eva Meredith.

State troopers responded to a crash involving a car that had rear-ended a tractor-trailer on I-90 westbound in Framingham at 2:40 a.m. Friday, according to police. Eva Meredith identified as Worcester woman killed in Mini Cooper, tractor-trailer crash on Mass. Pike crash in Framingham

The investigation revealed that a 2006 Subaru Legacy, operated by 40-year-old Tramayne Holmes of Milton, New York, was traveling eastbound on State Route 28 when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed over into the westbound lane and struck a 2022 Peterbilt tractor-trailer head-on, according to New York State Police from Ulster County. Police say Gregory Willis, 43, of Barton was inside the burning Dodge Ram involved the crash.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Route 5. Vermont State Police say Willis was heading north and veered into the southbound lane, colliding with a tractor-trailer truck. Both vehicles caught fire. Police ID driver in fiery Orleans County crash

A 2018 International tractor trailer was traveling south on I-81 when it exited onto the ramp and stopped due to traffic. A southbound 2001 Honda Accord rear-ended the tractor trailer.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, preliminary information revealed a pickup truck driven by David Garke, 62, of Coldwater, Ohio, was eastbound on State Route 47.

Brittney Mae Goodwin, 30, of Greensboro, was pronounced dead at the scene. . .

Goodwin’s Mazda SUV, a tractor-trailer and a Dodge pickup truck, were stopped in the southbound left lane due to slowing traffic. An approaching tractor-trailer hit the rear of the pickup truck and pushed it into the SUV, which was then pushed into the rear of the other tractor-trailer, authorities said. According to a crash report from the Illinois State Police, 30-year-old Juandria Pickett and her passenger 32-year-old Tiyana McCoy were killed in a crash at around 4 a.m. Saturday.
