Police say the crash involved a 2011 Ford F-150 and a 2009 Mack semi-truck. The driver of the F-150 was traveling south on U.S. 119 when she crossed the center line and her vehicle struck the semi head on.

The Harlan County coroner was called and pronounced a 59-year-old woman dead at the scene.

According to preliminary investigation, an 18-wheeler failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2013 Toyota Highlander which went under the trailer of the 18-wheeler.

DPS confirmed the deceased as 48-year old Mary K Cooper, of Hugo, OK, 61-year old Janet K Carter, of Durant, OK, 18-year old Koolasha U Green, of Hugo, OK, and a 16-year old male of Hugo, OK.

They say a semi driver failed to stop and hit the back of a pickup truck that was stopped behind another semi.

They say when northbound traffic was coming to a stop because of road maintenance and lane closures, a tractor trailer was unable to stop and hit seven other cars.

. . . a Mazda pickup truck with three passengers, driven by Scotty Lloyd, 51, was going around a curve on Highway 112 and was approaching a tractor-trailer. The pickup truck hydroplaned causing Lloyd to lose control and collide with the front of the tractor-trailer.

After the impact, the tractor-trailer then went over the pickup truck.

Lloyd was pronounced dead at the scene.

. . . Brayan Cabanzo-Cano, 21, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound on U.S. 244 westbound just after midnight Monday morning.

He crashed head-on with a semi just to the west of Defiance near Baltimore Street.

Cabanzo-Cano was flown to Toledo Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger in his car, Jose M. Carrillo-Cabanzo, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene. One dead, another seriously injured in wrong way crash with semi on U.S. 24

. . . a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer struck the back end of a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. The collision then pushed the Traverse into the rear of a trailer attached to a 2021 Ford F350. . .
