Jason Michael Richardson, 27, of Monroe, along with a juvenile female rear seat passenger were declared dead at the scene by the Lafayette County Coroner’s Office.

The investigation of the crash revealed that a 2020 Freightliner Semi-truck and trailer owned by Swift Transportation Company, and driven by Kaled Hussein Omar, 30, of Clarksville, Indiana, was traveling westbound on Wis. 11. A 2016 Ford F150 being driven by Richardson was traveling eastbound on Wis. 11. Richardson crossed the center line into the westbound lane of traffic and into the path of the westbound semi tractor and trailer. The driver of the semi tractor trailer attempted to avoid the Ford F150 but was unable to avoid the collision. . .

A Frederick woman died Thursday morning after crashing into the back of a tractor-trailer north of Middletown, police said.

The State Patrol identified the victim as 45-year-old Matthew John Strauss of Hutchinson. The crash report indicates he was driving west on Highway 212 when his car collided with an eastbound semi-truck. the deadly incident was reported shortly after 9:30 AM about 10 miles south of Hutchinson. Chase Sharp, 34, of Bay Minette was killed when the Ford Explorer he was driving hit the back of a Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by a Frisco City man.

At 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police said they responded to a two-vehicle crash near exit 174 on I-495 in Fairfax County in which a tractor-trailer suddenly slowed in speed due to mechanical issues and a 2003 Mercedes-Benz struck its rear.

Savannah Johnson, 15, and Karaline Johnson, 13, were identified as two of the three people killed in the crash on Interstate 70 in Cambridge Township Thursday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

News Center 7 previously reported that their father, Nathan Johnson, 45, also of Fairborn, was also in the car at the time of the crash. He was taken to Ohio Health Hospital of Cambridge where he died.

According to troopers, the tractor-trailer was trying to turn left onto J Verne Smith Parkway (SC 80) when the motorcyclist crashed into the side of it. Troopers stated that the motorcyclist passed away at the scene.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of McKay Road Northeast and Case Road Northeast. They found a Buick sedan and a refrigerated commercial box truck had crashed head-on.

The driver of the Buick, identified as Lisa Boylan of Portland, was declared dead at the scene.
