The crash report states that 69-year-old Ernest Bowens, of Shippensburg, was driving a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder south along the 9000 block of Olde Scotland Road in Southampton Township.

Daniel Laureano, 25, was driving a Chrysler minivan when he struck the rear of a tractor-trailer. The accident happened Monday night in the area of northbound Frontage Road and East Rogers Road, according to a news release.

State police identified the woman as 44-year-old Julia Delva Clarke of Fairfield. . .

They said the tractor trailer was stopped in the right lane due to heavy traffic.

Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer confirms that 24-year-old Jaelan Baker, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, died in the initial wreck Monday morning. His pickup truck crashed into an 18-wheeler and became partially stuck underneath, WLOX reports.

A semi-truck was traveling north on the highway and was attempting to turn left onto Ranch Road 2056. Another vehicle, driven by 55-year-old Elisabeth Hildebrand, was heading south on the highway. Katharina Froese, 60, was a passenger in the vehicle.

An initial investigation suggests that the Subaru was driving at a high rate of speed when it hit the tractor-trailer, according to police. Police also said the Subaru was wedged beneath the trailer and caught fire.
