Three people were killed Friday morning when their vehicle slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-85 in Midtown, Atlanta police said. . .

The three occupants of the passenger vehicle were dead at the scene, according to police spokesman Officer Steve Avery.

In Memory of Matthew Diehl (March 2, 2022)

Police said a Toyota Corolla driven by Matthew Diehl was heading south on Route 1 when it collided with the back of a tractor trailer.

In Memory of Grace Katherine Olson (February 27, 2022)

Around 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Minnesota State Patrol says the woman was driving a Chevrolet Malibu westbound on Highway 210 around milepost 40 in Tordenskjold Township when the car collided with a Ford F650 Straight Truck traveling eastbound. The roads were in snowy/icy condition.

The driver of the car was wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred. She died at the scene of the crash, according to the crash report. The driver of the Honda who was killed has been identified as 27-year-old Erick Olivares, of Central Islip. The passenger killed was 27-year-old Kevin Santamaria. . .

In Memory of Stephen Williams (February 25, 2022)

According to investigators, the flatbed was stopped in the right shoulder with a disabled tractor trailer. The 33-year-old driver of a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport left the right lane to avoid the flatbed, but collided with a 2013 Lincoln MKX in the center lane.

The impact caused the Mitsubishi to crash into the flatbed, police said.

Stephen Williams, 47, a passenger in the Mitsubishi, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police did not immediately release her identity.

Kendra Leigh Atherton-Guenther, 29, of Winona has died as a result of a crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Highway 61.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, a 2004 Saturn Vue, driven by Atherton-Guenther, was traveling south bound on Highway 61 at 1:11 p.m, when it collided with a 2011 Freightliner Semi that was parked on the shoulder of south bound Highway 61. Winona woman dies from injuries after Winona car crash

In Memory of Mark Williams, Brittany Puckett & Matthew Puckett (February 11, 2022)

According to the Virginia State Police, a 2017 Ford Transit E-350 passenger van rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was stopped in traffic.

There were seven members of the same family, who are from Tunnel Hill, Georgia, in the passenger van. Tunnel Hill is in Whitfield County.

Mark Williams, 52, was ejected from the van and died at the scene. Brittany Puckett, 25, and a her 2-year-old son Matthew also died at the scene. Williams and Puckett were not wearing seat belts. Matthew was secured in a car seat.

The driver, 31-year-old Christina Williams, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Maryann Bracci, 18, was also seriously injured. Christina Williams and Bracci were both wearing seat belts.
