According to Fisher, Kayla Marie Troutman, 32, of Lexington, was traveling east when her vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a tractor trailer. A South Carolina highway had to be shut down for hours Monday afternoon after officials said a car and a dump truck crashed head-on before catching fire. . .

A four-door sedan drove into the oncoming lane that the dump truck was in and hit it head-on, troopers said.

A southbound car driven by 26-year-old Cedrick Wa Muboyayi Muboyayi, of Grove City, Ohio, crossed the center line and hit a northbound tractor-trailer. The report says Muboyayi Muboyayi was pronounced dead at the scene. Ohio Man Killed in Crash with Tractor-Trailer in Poweshiek County

Dr. Jaroy and Elisia Stuckey and their son A.J. have been identified as the victims. Dr. Stuckey was the principal of Dublin High School and an alumnus of Georgia Southern University. . .

A Marion woman died Wednesday afternoon after her car rear-ended a tractor-trailer in Crittenden County, troopers said.

The Fremont Tribune reports that the crash happened Tuesday morning when a sport utility vehicle rear-ended the dump truck as it was stopped on U.S. Highway 77 waiting to turn left.

As both vehicles entered a curve along the road, the driver of the Honda traveled into the northbound traffic lane and was struck by the dump truck, DPS says. 

A man and an infant were the two occupants inside the car. Although the child was properly secured in a car seat and did not have any visible injuries, an ambulance took the child to St. Elizabeth hospital for observation.

Authorities have identified 20-year-old Lily Macke of Grimes, Iowa, as the woman who died in a fatal collision between a car and a semi.
