In Memory of Tesmond Thomas, LaTanya Jones, Levi Thomas, & Judah Thomas (July 2, 2021)

A family of four was killed in a crash on US Highway 1 in Moore County after their car hydroplaned in the rain and hit an 18-wheeler head-on Friday afternoon. . .

Authorities identified the family of four as Tesmond Thomas, 28; LaTanya Jones, 26; Levi Thomas, 6; and Judah Thomas, 4 — all four were from Aberdeen. Family of 4 killed in crash involving tractor-trailer, car in Moore County

Because the bottom of a truck is higher than the bumper of passenger vehicles, when there is a collision the smaller vehicle easily slides under the truck and the first point of impact is the windshield. . . .the driver of an 18-wheeler—Narinder Kumar, of New York—was traveling west on the interstate when he saw traffic stopped. He told police he was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision.

In Memory of Iris Maldonado (June 7, 2021)

At around 3:50 a.m., a person driving a Honda Civic was traveling directly behind a tractor-trailer when the Honda struck the rear of the truck for an unknown reason.

The Honda driver, identified as 39-year-old Iris Maldonado of Bristol, was transported to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. State Police investigating fatal crash involving tractor-trailer on I-84 west in East Hartford Monday

Nathanal King, 26, was in a Hyundai Santa Fe traveling southbound in the right lane when his car struck the rear of a disabled tractor trailer near milepost 58 around 4:45 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said.

The fatal car collision occurred at around 3:20 p.m. local time on Tuesday when a 2014 Ford Fusion carrying Dixie and Schultz crossed the center line on Highway 89, according to an incident report from the California Highway Police obtained by PEOPLE.

A 2015 Freightliner truck traveling the opposite direction collided with the sedan head-on. Dixie and Schultz were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck, a 45-year-old man from Nevada, suffered minor injuries. Calif. In Memory of Dylan DelToro (May 28, 2021)

. . . a Ryder box truck, being driven by 22-year-old Anthony Wisdom, was traveling westbound on Route 7 when it crossed the centerline.

The truck hit head on with an SUV traveling eastbound being driven by Dylan DelToro. A third car, driven by Jacqueline Bowman, was also traveling eastbound behind DelToro in a pickup truck and couldn’t stop, then hitting the Ryder truck.

Police say two people are dead after a car crash on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx early this morning.Authorities say just after midnight, a BMW with a man and woman inside rear ended a tractor-trailer. Daybelis Lantigua was the apple of her family’s eye and was just two days shy of her 23rd birthday when she died last week. . .

. . .  the BMW she was a passenger in slammed into a semi on the Deegan, lodging the car firmly underneath the truck.

In Memory of Thomas Frazier (May 21, 2021)

An Artesia Police Cpl. involved with an investigation was killed when his City of Artesia owned vehicle collided with a semitrailer on U.S. 285 north of Artesia Friday morning, State and Artesia Police said. 

An initial investigation indicated 42-year-old Thomas Wade Frazier was traveling north on U.S. 285 around 10:45 a.m. in a pickup truck which crashed into the rear of the semitrailer as it was turning into the Creek Side Dairy located near milepost 77, State Police said in a news release. Artesia Police Department officer killed in crash with semi truck
